Terms of Sale
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. Who you are buying from
Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. Polar is the seller of record for the transaction, issues your invoice or receipt, and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout. The software itself is licensed to you by VoidNotch as the software licensor and supplier.
2. What you are buying
A one-time perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the purchased software on the number of Macs stated on the plan you bought. This is not a subscription. We do not bill you again, and nothing renews automatically. Prices shown on the site are before location-dependent tax; Polar calculates tax at checkout.
Purchasing grants a licence entitlement for the Mac count you paid for. Production binary availability is a separate launch gate: the current binary is not yet generally released or notarized. Community builds from the public source repository; paid purchase is a licence entitlement, not a guarantee that a production binary is already available for download.
3. Your licence key
After payment, Polar sends a receipt email that includes your licence key. You can also manage past purchases in the Polar customer portal. Save your key. It is your proof of purchase, and you will need it again if you reinstall. Each key may be activated on the number of Macs your plan allows; you can deactivate a Mac at any time from inside the app to free that slot for another machine.
Do not share your key publicly. Keys that are published or resold may be revoked.
4. Local Pro trial
Where offered, a cardless local Pro trial of five days (120 hours) may be available inside the app. The trial does not require a Polar checkout and does not create a paid entitlement until you complete a purchase.
5. What we do not promise
The software is provided “as is”. Features that read data from third-party services depend on those services, and can break when they change without notice. We fix such breakage on a best-effort basis, but we cannot guarantee any particular feature will keep working indefinitely.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it.
6. Refunds
We offer a voluntary 14-day refund policy. See our Refund Policy. Polar may separately issue refunds under its buyer terms or chargeback-prevention rights; that does not expand or replace our voluntary policy.
7. Contact
